Ellise & David's Wedding

On June 17, Ellise and David tied the knot in the private East and West dining rooms at Canoe. Close friends and family witnessed the couple’s intimate ceremony, as the sun set over the lake.

After the couple said ‘I do’, guests raised their glasses – filled with Henry of Pelham Sparkling Brut Rosé and Canoe’s signature Fresh Cherry Lemonade – to toast the newlyweds. Canapés of Crispy Cod Cheek, Canoe Classic Game Tourtière, Deviled Potatoes and Polenta Fries were passed.

For dinner, guests enjoyed a chef-inspired meal of Field Spinach Salad, Arctic Char, Alberta Beef Tenderloin and Stone Fruit Cobbler paired perfectly with Biff’s Juicy Red and Henry of Pelham Sauvignon Blanc. Later in the evening, guests indulged in the couple’s two-tiered chocolate whiskey wedding cake with vanilla buttercream icing, made by the mother of the bride.
