From November 10 to 14, we teamed up with Iceland Naturally to host the 6th annual Taste of Iceland in Toronto. We were honoured to welcome Executive Chef Sigurður Helgason (Radisson Blu Saga, Grillið Restaurant) and his take on authentic Icelandic cuisine. Guests enjoyed a four-course tasting menu featuring time-honoured Icelandic ingredients such as Arctic char, lamb, and skyr. Chef Helgason was joined by Jump's Chef de Cuisine Miheer Shete and District Executive Chef John Horne to execute the experience.
The series culminated on November 14 with "An Evening In Iceland", an immersive event showcasing the best of Icelandic music, cuisine, and drinks. Guests were treated a live performance by an Icelandic folk artist Axel Flóvent during the cocktail and canapé reception, followed by the opportunity to meet and hear from the chefs themselves. It was a true culinary experience fit for any foodie!
