On July 16th 2014, over 250 guests gathered at the Design Exchange for a rapid-fire presentation on the fusion of food and design. The event was held in conjunction with TAPAS: Spanish Design For Food, a special exhibit of Spain's innovative design solutions and contributions to the world of food. The event featured some of Toronto's most celebrated chefs, designers and restaurateurs, including Jen Agg, Tyler Shedden, Amy Rosen and many more.
Discussions ranged from unique menus to bespoke restaurant interiors while guests sampled bite-sized gourmet canapés including Cuttlefish Confit, Lamb Ribs and Beef Empanadas. The Jamon & Spring Onion Crespelle station attracted much attention, while many guests also gravitated towards the Spanish Churros station, taking in the aromas of chocolate, dulce de leche and cinnamon sugar.
