Master Gnocchi with Chef Paul Brans

In February, the O&B team invited 35 guests to attend a Winterlicious culinary event, Master Gnocchi with Chef Paul Brans, in one of O&B's newest spaces, Arcadian Studio. This hands-on workshop featured a lesson in the art of crafting light and delicate gnocchi and was followed by an exquisite dinner. 

When guests first arrived, they mingled over welcome cocktails and canapés, before sitting around the kitchen studio's large U-shaped counter; there, Chef Paul Brans guided the class through the steps of effectively kneading, rolling, cutting and boiling the petite, potato pillows, as well as developing a kale and walnut pesto to toss them in.

Once the guests shaped their gnocchi and made their take-home pesto, they moved to Arcadian Loft for a three-course dinner with wine. They indulged in Sunchoke Soup; Cured Beef Cheeks with Potato Gnocchi, Wild Mushrooms & Pecorino; and a Dark Chocolate Torte while enjoying spectacular views of Old and New City Hall. Finally, on their way out, guests received a loot bag with an O&B apron, a recipe card, a gnocchi-rolling board and an O&B Artisan treat!
