Heather and Jay were married in front of close family and friends in a beachfront ceremony at Heather’s family cottage. Following the ceremony, guests joined the newlyweds for an evening of great food and fun at Westin Trillium House Blue Mountains.
Oliver & Bonacini catered the event, serving a chef-inspired meal of watercress salad with goat cheese, shaved pear, candied walnuts and a sherry vinaigrette. Guests then enjoyed an entrées of chili honey glazed chicken supreme with mushroom barley pilaf or grainy mustard roasted striploin with yam purée. Dinner concluded with coffee, tea and a slice of delicious wedding cake, as well as speeches made in honour of the happy couple.
Following dinner, dancing and a late night snack of sweet & savoury popcorn ensued – an excellent end to a beautiful day filled with love!
